Fundraised and donated $500.00 through the Aluth Avurudha event for the Sri Lankan Deaf Community especially for CPDWA’s School Development Fund in honor of Bandula S. Peiris

Sponsored $300 to Masala Dancers, (coordinated by Veena Advani) for DeafNation World Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada in July 2010
Donated $563.57 to Sri Lankan Deaf Community to build CPDWA’s restroom facility in Kandy, Sri Lanka. (CPDWA was founded by former MSADA Board Member Tissa Peiris’s late younger brother Bandula S. Peiris who passed away in October)
